Voice tracking needs Chrome or Edge (Safari's speech recognition is unreliable). The first time you start, your browser will ask to use the microphone — click Allow and it will remember from then on. The teleprompter uses your system default microphone, so pick the one you want in your operating system's sound settings first.

Privacy: while voice tracking is on, your speech is sent to your browser's built-in speech service (Google's, in Chrome) to turn it into text. This page stores nothing and never sends your script anywhere — your script stays in your browser.
